Nobuhiro Hosoki grew up watching American films since he was a kid; he decided to go to the United States thanks to seeing the artistry of Stanley Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange.” After graduating from film school, he worked as an assistant director on TV Tokyo’s program called "Morning Satellite" at the New York branch office but he didn’t give up on his interest in cinema. He became a film reporter for via Yahoo Japan News. In that role, he writes news articles, picks out headliners for Yahoo News, as well as interviewing Hollywood film directors, actors, and producers working in the domestic circuit in the USA. He also does production interviews for Japanese distributors of American films and for in-theater on-sale programs. He is now the editor-in-chief of Cinemadailyus.com while continuing his work for Japan.

山下智久が初海外ドラマ主演を果たし、国内外で賞賛の嵐を巻き起こした日仏米共同製作の国際連続ドラマ「神の雫 Drops of God」シーズン2の日本版メインビジュアルとティザー予告編(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8_RLaHE-WU)が披露された。 本シリーズは、世界中で愛され、日本のワインブームにも火を付けた伝説的大人気漫画「神の雫」(作・亜樹直、画・オキモト・シュウ/講談社)を実写ドラマ化したもの。 原作漫画の中心を担う男性キャラクター=神咲雫をフランス人女性カミーユに置き換えると同時に、山下智久が演じる聡明なワイン評論家の遠峰一青(とおみね・いっせい)を“新たな主人公”に設定し、23年にシーズン1が日本で配信開始。第52回国際エミー賞最優秀ドラマシリーズ賞(連続ドラマ部門)を受賞した。 フルール・ジェフリエがカミーユ役、山下が遠峰役を務める。監督はオデッド・ラスキン、プロデューサーはクラウス・ジマーマン、脚本はクオック・ダン・トランが担当し、シーズン1のキャスト&監督が再集結する。 世界的ワインの権威アレクサンドル・レジェが亡くなったことをきっかけに、フランス・パリで暮らす彼の娘カミーユと、彼に師事していた遠峰一青が、総額1670億円にも及ぶ世界最大のワインコレクションを含む莫大な遺産を巡って国境を越えた対決に挑んだシーズン1。シーズン2では、カミーユと一青がこれまでで最も危険な試練に挑むことになる。それは、世界最高のワインの起源という、カミーユの父アレクサンドル・レジェですら解けなかった深い謎を解き明かすことだった。 遺産を巡る争いとして始まった旅は、やがて大陸や時代を超えた真実を探し求める旅路へと発展し、忘れ去られた歴史や隠された因縁、長い間封印されてきた秘密が明るみになっていく。 このほど披露された日本版メインビジュアルでは、神々しく太陽が輝くブドウ畑を背に、一青とカミーユが真剣な面持ちで真正面を見据えて並びぶ。「そしてその一滴が、真実へと導く」というコピーが添えられ、壮大なドラマの始まりを予感させる。 ティザー予告編は、一青とカミーユがシャサングル農園で久しぶりに再会し、喜びのハグを交わすシーンからスタート。「私の最大の失敗はこの完璧なワインの産地を探し得なかったことだ」という父からの手紙をきっかけに、スペイン、フランス、ギリシャ、ジョージア、そして日本と景色が移り、世界最高のワインを求めてふたりの壮大な旅が始まることを示唆している。 「神の雫 Drops of God」シーズン2は、26年1月23日からHuluで国内独占配信開始。全8話。毎週金曜に1話ずつ配信予定。
